We found this lovely restaurant by chance. It's located near the busy Montmartre but here you can enjoy the atmosphere without the biggest tourist groups all around you. The restaurant is cozy, the food was great, the service was nice and the prices very reasonable....More

Looking for a shaded place to eat lunch we found Chez Plumeau. The food was delicious, served promptly with a lovely presentation. The pumpkin soup was a highlight for me. Husband had a beef brochette that he said was delicious. There was a continuous supply...More

If you want a casual relaxing dinner and you are in no hurry, this is the place for you. The restaurant is located off the main area of montmartre. It is close to the Dali museum. My husband and I enjoyed the outdoor patio. We...More

We had a wonderful meal here our first night in Paris. I reserved a table a few days in advance through The Fork. There were tables available but we were surprised when we got the bill and we'd been given a nice discount (maybe 10...More

One of the few quieter spots in Montmartre, just atop the stairs and shaded by a large tree this was the perfect place for a birthday dinner. Great atmosphere. There weren't many vegetarian options, but I learned not to expect that in Paris, but the...More

Service however is a bit lackadaisical. Yet, people don't seem to mind, and there's nowhere else on "the Butte" that is nearly so nice. I had a really nice chicken tandoori salad and a couple glasses of Lalande. I did not regret it.

Met friends for lunch. Loved the atmosphere! Quirky outdoor patio...lovely leafy overhang. Good soups, plates, cheeses, drinks. Around the corner from an artists community in Montmartre, the “Top” of Paris, next to The Sacred Heart Basilica.

We could tell this was the place to go because it is off the main corridor yet right around the corner from Sacre Couer. Filed with locals. This was best food in Paris yet. Friendly staff. The lamb shank was wonderful. Also enjoyed the salmon...More

I had lunch there yesterday. The blackboard specials had roast chicken, salad (with a delicious dressing) and pommes frites 13.50 euros. It was a warm day, although sprinkling with rain on and off. I ordered a 50cl glass of biere pression - 1664, my favourite...More

Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and
styles which changes from one street to another. Ride
the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the
steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the
Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The
church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano
bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers
thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy
