Needless to say, service was excellent. An incredible cold pea soup. So fresh. Do not think traditional pea soup cold. This has the taste of fresh sweet peas. Excellent fish main course.....and the desserts were wonderful as well. The chef uses sauces, but very light and fresh. The food is farm to table. Make reservations

Charming little place. It helps of you speak French as the owner's English is rather limited to basic nouns.

I'm delighted with this great restaurant located in center of Paris. OMG...the foods and services are great. I highly recommend this restaurant. Don't forget to make a reservation since it's full house for lunch and dinner. "I'll be bach...Je reviendrai :)"

A true gem. Hidden away in a small alley, you will find this cosy place. A wonderful blend of French food and Japanese aestetics perfectly served to allow all the flavours to come out in every dish. I am not usually as blown away, as I was with this place. I felt very welcome, and the atmosphere was amazing and... More

We had two dinners at Les Enfants Rouges during this trip to Paris and both were excellent! We enjoyed the terrine apetizer, the ris de veau main course, and white chocolate and tart tartin desserts. The staff is warm and helpful. It's a special place and we recommend it highly.

This is everything I like, a charming district "le Marais", charming 17 century building , simple dining place, real fusion cooking from Japanese chef with French traditional cooking ... amazing mix of customers from Japanese, typical bobo guys from Marais, and of course the touch of historical French ... all of this with amazing flavors with very beautiful presentation! We recently visited this small restaurant in the Marais. I recommend getting a reservation as it was quite popular though it seemed that some walk-ins may be able to be accommodated. Careful detail is paid to the dishes which were flavorful and filling! We felt the prix fixe menu was well priced and a great value for a nice and... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
