We sat at a long table in the small dining room with minimalistic dark decor. The tasting menu ranged from great to indifferent. While very good we had the feeling that the restaurant was running on autopilot.

I am a fan of Jean Imbert, owner and chef of the restaurant. He won the 2012 topchef edition. My husband took me there for my bday lunch as a surprise. Food was nice! We took the 20€ degustation menu and where not dissappointed! When my husband booked the restaurant, he asked if it would be possible to meet the... More

Acajou is all about design. Two dining rooms, one in the back with individual tables and one in fronts with a table d'hôte here many din ra can sit at a long table. The night we were there the restaurant was not busy and we were the only ones at the table d'hôte. Minimalist design, interesting lighting, much thinking has... More

We spent a very good time in the restaurant of Jean. A very nice and funny chef. Everything was very good and refined. Seafood dishes are awesome, and the chef like to talk of his Bretagne and where products come from. The service is friendly. And if you ask to the chef you can visit the little cuisine in the... Very nice restaurant but no menu you order from a board that choices. The food is excellent and the service is good. The price we found very fair. You have to eat there desert.

The restaurant was a wonderful surprise. We reserved the lunch and we had a 3 course menu for 40 euro per person. It was delicious, a perfect balance in taste, just the right amount of food, of accompaniment and of condiments, arranged in a beautiful colourful harmony. An explosion of taste and savours in your mouth. And i believe this... More

We went there on a friday evening after a walk in the - very - quiet area. The place is quite nice but, overall, the atmosphere was too superficial. It was like the restaurant had no history. The service was not in line with the price, and our table was too close to the other customers to enjoy our dinner.... More

I went to L'Acajou tonight. I had a very nice baked clam appetizer (about 18 tiny, tender clams with bread stuffing presented on beds of salt. I ordered St. Pierre for my main dish and the fish arrived perfectly prepared (for my taste) - crispy around the edges and moist and tender everywhere else. It was served on a potato... More

L’Acajou restaurant in Paris’ 16th arrondissement just a few steps from RadioFrance is a place where every sense is attended to, taste, sight and hearing. This charming, intimate restaurant is thoughtfully decorated in mahogany alternating with creamy walls bearing beautiful modern art while delightful music wafts through the air. Chef Jean Imbert, called to the kitchen since he was a child, has worked with some of the most decorated chefs of our time, and here creates a French menu of impeccable sourcing, seasonality and delicacy. Dishes might include foie gras with apple in sauterne, roast pork fermier with pineapple and shiitake mushrooms. Excellent wines and service complete the picture.
