Me and my wife arrived early on a Friday evening. It wasn't crowded. We probably wouldn't have needed to make the reservations days in advance. The interior is calm and modern, with a nice glass wall facing the kitchen, so that you can see the chefs working. We had a glass of Champagne, oyster ceviche and foie gras with truffles.... More

I came at Le Chamarré with a group of colleagues on a sunny spring day. From the tiny, green & lovely terrace we had a splendid view on Sacré Cœur at the foot of Montmartre stairs. After a funny wine testing session we were served our lunch. A savours & freshness festival started. This is the essence of Chef Heerah's... More

My boyfriend and me decided to visit the restaurant as it was one of the fine dining places nearby our accommodation during our stay in Paris which was opened on a Sunday. We decided to go for a la carte as the waiter said that the tasting menu might be a bit specific for those who are not from France.... More

Recommended by a friend, this restaurant was superb. Various menus at various prices to choose from, and all dishes presented extremely well by the friendly and professional staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the whole experience - worth the effort to seek this one out!

The food was amazing! They had a great wine list and the staff were very knowledgable about the food, we all wished we had more time to enjoy more items on the menu. The combination of flavora was exquisite!

Hidden in a labyrinth of 18th district neighborhood this charming restaurant welcomes you for lunch and dinner. A convenient formula at 34€ for appetizer(take the terrine of queues de boeuf)+entry (3 ways cochon, a bit heavy)+dessert of the day (fruits rouges melba) If you are really hungry go for menu des iles for a nice discovery (oysters are great, crayfish... Ignore the year-old and older reviews. This place is AWESOME! Chef Antoine Heerah is a master with a sense of humor and a great concept: this is food theater, eaters are the performers, and Chef Antoine, behind his big view window, is your audience. The play is fresh, local, Mauritian inspired and French flavored and prepared, excellent food. I have... More

We were a table of 4 and we chose the Chef's Tasting menu. Great service, great patio and restaurant. Every course, every amuse bouche was amazing right up until dessert. Up until dessert we thought we were eating at a Bistro that would soon be attaining a Michelin star, but then this little canned fruit dessert thing came out for... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
