We tried Burattina and their speciality Linguine. Both tasted good. The wine was the best we ever had in Paris. The only thing what could be better was the waiter - he did not ask us if the meal is good and he was not...More

Had a wonderful meal here 2 months ago so decided to return for a fulfilling Sunday night dinner. The pasta Romantica was on point, and the Veal Milanese was succulent!

Stopped here for lunch and it was delicious. I wouldn't say that it's terribly inexpensive but the food is very flavorful. I would eat here again.

The pasta and other dishes we had were excellent. Upon arriving for people who worked there could not figure out if we could sit down to eat. Then the manager came over and seated us right away like it did not make sense. Also we...More

Again, we found ourselves looking for a restaurant after 10pm because it stays light so long in Paris (compared to where we live) that 10pm sneaked up on us! Lots of restaurants are closed, but we found Romantica near Les Invalides. Cute, good service, excellent...More

On our recent trip to visit we had an apartment close to Romantica Cafe. We ate there many times. Always on a moments notice. We often stopped in for some pasta to go for our kids as well. The staff was more than accommodating. We...More

Description
La Romantica Caffe restaurant in Paris not two steps from the Ecole Militaire is the pretty little sister of the beloved La Romantica in Clichy. This attractive bistrot has exposed brick walls, sleek toffee-coloured seating, wooden floors, clever indirect lighting and a feeling that care has been lavished on every detail, no matter how relaxed the ambience. The menu differs slightly from big sisters, too. Its more informal, though still authentic seasonal Italian gastronomy, with dishes like a pretty irresistible assorted antipasti platter, a long list of pastas, classic elephant ear veal Milanese, and an ultralight tiramisu. Superb for business lunches, a small army of regulars keeps the atmosphere buzzing.
