I recently spent several nights in Paris with family and friends. La Romantica Caffe was near our hotel so we stopped and had dinner one evening! We ate at an outside table and both the meal and the service was wonderful! The server spoke english...More

Years ago, I visited La Romantically at the suggestion of our concierge. I didn't expect much more than some decent pasta and a bottle of wicker bound chianti, especially given that the cliche name of this restaurant. 4 years later, I returned to Paris after...More

Very limited and poor wine selection, especially by the glass (for example their were three choices for white: all three were Rieslings...no Italian selection, which is weird for an Italian restaurant. All red wine choices were on the light side...no robust selection! ) Our salad...More

After a visit to Les Invalides we walked the nearby streets looking for a lunch restaurant but found few, & of them most were closed. Don't tourists or even the locals eat out on Sundays? Fortunately we discovered La Romantica which offered good Italian cuisine...More

Expensive and mediocre. The Duck Carpaccio was amazing but then it was downhill from there. The tables were too close together and the Milanese Elephants Eara (breaded veal on the bone) was basically a massive turkey drummer from Iceland

Like many/most tourist-neighborhood restaurants that strive to go beyond Les Hamburgers, this place was expensive. We ended up doing 70 EU for a salad, a bit of fish, a bit of pasta, no wine, no dessert. But that's to be expected. The food taste good,...More

There is not too much options around Les Invalides in Paris. Suddenly, leaving hungy from the building, we found a charming cafe, called La Romantica. Getting in the place, we felt a real sensation that food would be fine. And It was indeed. Well elaborated...More

La Romantica Caffe restaurant in Paris not two steps from the Ecole Militaire is the pretty little sister of the beloved La Romantica in Clichy. This attractive bistrot has exposed brick walls, sleek toffee-coloured seating, wooden floors, clever indirect lighting and a feeling that care has been lavished on every detail, no matter how relaxed the ambience. The menu differs slightly from big sisters, too. Its more informal, though still authentic seasonal Italian gastronomy, with dishes like a pretty irresistible assorted antipasti platter, a long list of pastas, classic elephant ear veal Milanese, and an ultralight tiramisu. Superb for business lunches, a small army of regulars keeps the atmosphere buzzing.
