Saveurs et Salon restaurant in Paris, barely two steps from the Place de la Madeleine, is a restaurant of two moods. On the main floor the ambience is light and artistic, with lilac walls, colourful cushions and the modern art of painter Arnaud Martin. Below stairs you will find a vaulted stone cellar with leather banquettes, a complete bar, pools of warm light and an intimate air. In both areas, the menu focusses on the vibrant flavours of the French Southwest encompassing both innovative dishes like duck in pastilla pastry with touches of mint and classics of the great French tradition, like escargots de bourgogne and tournedos of beef Rossini. The welcome is extremely warm in this busy part of town and the lunch menus are good value.
