This was a fairly typical Parisian restaurant, nothing uniquely extraordinary, but this close to Champs Elysee and L'Arc de Triomphe makes it hard to beat. Outside dining was very pleasant, and the food was good.

Our welcome was warm by the host and we were seated in a bright sunny place in the front, which made us happy as tourists. Then Maxime greeted us at our table with a zesty fun charm, he helped us with the menu and teased in a way that we felt immediately comfortable. The croque madame, an open-faced sandwich with... Very Parisian, great service with a small but good menu! situated in view of the arc de triomphe which makes for a wonderful back drop to a nice lazy afternoon or evening.

I'd come to Paris to see the finish of the Tour de France and spend a couple of days sightseeing on my own. Had lunch here while waiting for Le Tour to go round the Arc de Triomphe. Enjoyed my somewhat expensive lunch, but it is in one of the more touristy areas of Paris, so not really a complaint.... More

We split the Pizza Jambon €16, which was tasty and big enough for the two of us. We sat outside to enjoy the nice weather and watch the people go by. The service was good but I would not put this cafe very high on our list to return.

Having travelled a bit i always look for business people in suits as a guide to which cafe's are frequented by locals and therefore probably serve good food, my system let me down this time and i can only assume they did not have any taste buds. My club sandwich was soggy and just barely edible despite the fact that... More

It's hard for me to mark anything below 'dreamy' that was in Paris, but I am trying to keep my perspective. :) I visited with a friend; we both ordered the steak and fries, which were fine, but not anything fantastic. The steak actually had a decent flavor, although it was very thin, like an American skirt steak, would be... More

Pasta carbonara is one of my favorite dishes so I have eaten it all over the world. The Deloren's was easily the most bland I have ever tasted. The prices were 30-60% (18 Euros versus 12-13 Euros) higher than similar places on the Champs de Elyees The service was slow; to respond to the bad meal, to provide the bill,... More

The location, a stone's throw from L'Arc with views from the sidewalk tables is wonderful. There is a deli area that makes fantastic bagels and other delicacies to take away or eat in. The Italian dishes that we tried were of very good quality, taste and presentation. The American hamburgers and other concessions to expat tastes may not have been... More

This restaurant, a stone's throw from the Arc de Triomph in the Élysée arrondissement, looks quite inviting from the street so we decided to have dinner there (sadly it was our first night in Paris and we hadn't seen the "recommended restaurants" list our hotel had). The menu seemed to be mostly Italian dishes with French influence. Ok, it wasn't... More
