This restaurant is a real gem! We stayed in Paris for 4 nights in September 2013 and was so impressed with the food and service that we ended up having meals there on 3 occasions! We travelled as a 4: Myself, my Husband and my parents. This is a family run establishment that do a wide selection of Pizzas, pastas... More

Sat outdoors at lunchtime under the shady awning. Terrace slowly filled with locals while we ate. We shared one pizza (Regina, with ham and mushrooms) and a salad (the Italian salad, but don't let the name fool you: it's mostly meat, half prosciutto, half beef, and tomato, mozzarella, pesto, artichoke and pickled capers). We could barely finish everything. The pizza... More

Going to Amalfi is like having dinner at a friend's home. It's one of the few places in Paris where you feel welcome as a customer! The food is great and the prices reasonable.

Reading the few good reviews I gave Amalfi a try and was expecting a good Italian Pizza. From the start my waiter made me feel uncomfortable by never smiling or not even making any welcoming gesture... And the place wasn't even half full! Ordered a Margarita pizza and a 1/4 litre of the wine of the day. Tomato sauce was... More

I ate here the first night I stayed in Paris as it was next door to my hotel. I had the three course dinner: salad, pizza, and creme broulee for 16 Euros. I thought the food and service was good. Nothing to get too excited about, but I was full after I ate which is always my goal. :)

I do not think these two last opinions are objective. The food and hospitality are always excellent and I think that extreme opinions should be moderate. That evening, the dining room manager was replaced by an Italian waiter beginner, hardly speaking French and no English. Farfadelles with ham are not at the same price as the truffles farfadelles. In front... More

I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend as it was 5 minutes away from our hotel and recieved raving reviews on Trip Advisor. Unfortunatly, we were horribly disappointed! It was fairly empty, as we went quite early (about 8 o clock) so were seated outside quickly. It then took another half an hour for the host (the egomaniac who has... More

Everything we had was wonderful (and so good that we kept coming back). The pizzas are great, but definitely don't pass up on the salads.

If you want to have a quick trip to italy while staying in paris, visit amalfi, simply the best italian restaurant in the french capital. Mario the owner and the talented chef is always smiling, Reno the italian server is very helpfull. And the music is simply perfect.... reserve before you go because the restaurant is pretty small
