We booked a table and arrived in an empty restaurant which filled up quickly. Kind waiter, formidable lady cooks. Reasonably priced, at a stone's throw from the Sacré Coeur. Cosy, good wines, pleasant atmosphere and food to return for!

The staff and the interior make you feel at home immediately and the chef never fails to amaze. A small menu to ensure freshness and whatever you do leave room for desert because those are pure works of art

Quite one of the most exceptional meals we have ever eaten! Exquisite food and wine - definitely the culinary highlight of our trip to Paris! The atmosphere and service were superb - thank you Sophie and Richard for a memorable evening.

Good food in a cute atmosphere! We were lucky enough to find a table without booking. The service was very quick and the waitress had really nice attitude with clients.

After strolling around in Monmartre with loads of touristy restaurants and shops, we stumbled upon this cute little restaurant with very nice dishes and especially amazing desserts (the mascarpone is yum). Already simply because of the lovely owners a must visit for a true Parisian experience.

We loved this little gem. Close to some seriously average restaurants, this place is a bright star of delicious food, good and homely service and wonderful memories. I recommend it totally and completely. You will not regret it!

The meal we had was awful. TUNA with Orange and Carrot mash. The orange in the carrot and tuna dish was very over powering. But the desert was really nice. The starters were okay I didn't like how they served the bread in paper bags I thought that seemed unprofessional. The owners speak English however I felt they seemed a... More

L'Annexe is an easy going and as the name suggests, small bistro - chances are you'll be seated next to someone else during your meal. The menu is also quite small but there’s something for everyone. Although these might be negatives in some restaurants it works here and if you go with the flow you’ll have a good time and... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
