I decided to go to this restaurant as it had 4.5 dots on tripadvisor and I was a bit surprise as I think it doesn't deseve them. It is extremely cheap and as stataed in the title, you pay what you get. Food wasn't bad...More

Le Coup Torchon is a good choice for a low-key bistro dinner, nothing fancy or extraordinary, but the traditional cuisine (duck confit, boeuf bourgignon, roast lamb) is tasty and reasonably priced, and the wine was very good and equally affordable. The proprietor is a charming...More

I just happened to stumble across the good TA reviews and thought we would give this place a go. Location is at top of hill from Metro Cluny, about a 750m walk but easy to find. Not the prettiest area, in the University district, and...More

Found this gem of a restaurant through recommmodations on this platform and did not regret it. One waiter managed good service to all tables including the "sale" upstairs and was very good about vine recommmodations even if our vine of choice did not fit the...More

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Le Coup de Torchon, and the price was extremely reasonable -- even more so when you consider it is in Paris! We all loved our meals, and the atmosphere and service was exquisite!

3-course lunch for 2 with wine - 40 euro. Unbelievable! The food was simple but very good. Efficient and pleasant servics. Do not expect anything extraordinary, but I'd recommend the place without hesitation.

Came here twice whilst staying in Paris. Small place so very attentive service and right near so many landmark places. Food was excellent, simple but delicious! Highly recommend.

It's small typical French restaurant. Food was really nice but I won't tell you anything about gluten free meals and about kids. But definitely was worthy for us and I wish to go there again
