We went there on a Sunday for a family dinner. and all three of us liked it. There was a several curse menu, and we took a couple of wagyu beef to complement it for the male participants. The food is fantastic, perhaps we should not have taken nigiri sushi option in the menu which was good but the other... More

They have only menu for diner, you can't choose the plate that you like. Little quantity, goods news for people who is in diet. I am not so fun for the two deserts in the menu, because it is too much French style. The egg pot offered before the starters tastes good, fresh and gentle. We dîner here twice in... More

Great Japanese themed place. HAs outdoor but being March we were inside. Carefully prepared food - we had a set menu - Sashmi starter and baked fish for main - washed down with sake.

I was proud to bring a business relationship to this Japanese restaurant that is unique in Paris and far from standardized Japanese/ Chinese we can find in many cities. Here we have a unique place, well furnished with nice dishes and the meal is very delicate and delicious with some yuzu lemon taste. Having spent one year in Japan I... More

I came to Kura for dinner recently, we were 3 friends and we all took the menu dégustation Kura as we were quite hungry and wanted to try a variety of dishes. My friends opted for the sushi main course and I took the white fish. All the dishes were well prepared, very fresh and tasty, the main course however... More

We eat out a lot, and it takes a lot to wow us. Kura did it. This is the only restaurant review I'm taking the time to write from our month in Europe. We took a chance on Kura on a Sunday night, when it can be hard to find an open restaurant in a residential area. They apologized that... More

We went for dinner and were quite surprised that it was only possible to order a set meal, and not a la carte. There were a la carte items, but they only could be ordered as supplements to the set menu. While some of the things on the set menu were interesting and well prepared, I didnt want so many... More

Great food, great place. The whole menu set was great, the only negative point would be the service. The japanese do not smile much there, but it's great food and great time you can get there.

The meal (bento followed by desert) was delicious. The setting is nothing special but the food is beautifully presented and the service is very friendly.

Kura is a unique Japanese gastronomic kaiseki restaurant situated in the 16th district of Paris, right by Rue de Passy and metro La Muette. Kura has a traditional Japanese ambiance and a refined cuisine blended with kaiseki and french influences. Please be aware we only have one menu for the dinner service with a choice of main course. For guests that enjoy a view of the artful skill of our Japanese chefs, we have an open counter, reserve our private room for groups or enjoy the sun on the terasse.

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
