Right beside the new Halles, "Au Chien qui Fume" is a lovely place to stay for many reasons like the perfect location and the great athmosphere. The traditional style environment leads to a very good offer of dishes, both for fish and meat.

We visited Au Chien again on this visit to Paris. We have visited there multiple times over the years after a local at a department store recommended it to my wife and I. The food is good and the price is fair. Nothing fancy or...More

Good active part of Paris, with a mixture of locals and tourists as clients of this restaurant. I had the duck Parmentier and was pleasantly surprised. A couple of Kir to start with and the dinner was enjoyable in a typically Parisienne way.

We ate here several times on our trip to Paris. It is convenient and close to a metro station and a couple of hotels. The atmosphere is typical Paris style with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly enough. The food was relatively good...More
