I wouldd't be in a rush to revisit, the host was friendly but the food was of poor quality and in this area there are lots of small restraunteurs looking to do business. This just happens to b one of the first yoou come to down this side street.

Walking the streets of Paris, and dropped in to Le Jardin du Roy for a meal. We were not disappointed. Ordered the special , which was a starter, entrée, and dessert for EUR 15 each. A bottle of wine and watch Paris go by. Great service, food was excellent.

We have visited Le Jardin du Roy on 2 occasions on separate visits to Paris. It's located close to the Notre Dame and they offer very good set menus with varying price options. The food has been cooked well on both occasions but the steak on our most recent visit was a touch overcooked for my taste. Having said that,... More

As we were staying at Hotel du Mont Blanc next door, we had breakfast here each morning. Also enjoyed dinner here two times in four days. Good food and value, excellent service.

Till now the best place I try in Paris with normal price. We ate a set menu for two person with beef bourguignon and a fondue for 35 euros and sincerely was very good! I recommend this place also for the good service and good position if you want visit Notre Dame.

a place in the heart of "quartiere latino"; the location is good, the staff also is nice; the food for the price will be very good. I try the "foie gras" and was been a good experience(you can try it in the menu gastronomique for 22 euro) but the wine is a little bit expensive.

Wandering around the Latin quarter decided to stop at this restaurant was reasonably priced. I had the 3 course dinner pâté' chicken & ice cream sundae my wife had French onion soup, beef bourguignon & fruit salad it cost €30 with drinks and we thought it tasted great waiters were very quick and helpful would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Walking through the busy Latin Quarter for a decent place to eat dinner. All the restaurants trying to pull you in to their place along the way. Very friendly service food was good, especially for the price $14 for 3 courses. Bottle of Saint-Emilion wine was reasonable and good for the price.

Found a dead cockroach in my plate. I think it's more than enough to convince other people to avoid this place.

Had the most amazing meal our first night in Paris. The best Beef Bourguignon ever. The service was impeccable and the wine was wonderful and well priced. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
