Booked this after my daughter had been on a previous occasion for drinks. The restaurant is in the Marais , which is a lovely buzzy area. From the outside the restaurant doesn't look anything special, but it is fabulous. We were a group of 8 who are all used to eating out a lot . The menu is small just... More

Have eaten here a few times in the past few months and the whole experience is sort of French with an eclectic twist. Have a consistently positive experience each time. The service is attentive and welcoming. The food is consistently strong -- especially the raviolis champignons and the duck. The atmosphere is eclectically urban -- sort of Paris meets NYC.... More

The restaurant can be found on the way from Hotel de Ville/Town Hall to the church of Saint Paul in a small niche of gourmet area catering to locals. I was recommended this place by another local too. I have not got a clue what is with the name, but the food is fantastic. I had resigned to the idea... More

Small, personal restaurant. Totally full on a Sunday night with people enjoying their dinners. Interesting wine list as well. Note that most tables are up a narrow flight of stairs. My son's favorite - he goes every time he is in Paris!

Found this place after researching restaurants in Le Marais area of Paris. Really cool spot, great food, great atmosphere and fantastic little building! The menu is superb with really well cooked French classics. We got there early, which I would recommend as it soon fills up. Get yourself a bottle of wine because when it gets busy the service is... I loved this restaurant!! Atmospheric and buzzy on a Wednesday night, serving excellent French food. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, and it was comfortable and well decorated. Definitely would recommend.

We had dinner this week end in this restaurant we did not know before. This is a cosy small restaurant in the Marais. I was very nicely surprised by the quality of the food and the wine list. The menu is not huge but we tasted most of the dishes and everything was delicious. Mushroom ravioles, crab salad, soup as... More

The restaurant was busy but the staff was very helpful. Food was excellent - not too fussy. I had a steak (their specialty) and my wife had fish. We spent 3 hours in the restaurant with another couple and never felt rushed.

I was there for drinks and dinner. Relaxed atmosphere, fantastic food and outstanding cocktails. Splendid. If the staff cracked a smile every once in a while it would be just perfect, but maybe less authentic parisian. Ciao

We discovered this restaurant reading TripAdvisor reviews...and We can confirm it's an excellent place. We arrived in advance to our reservation, we had a drink in the bar talking with the friendly waiters. Upstairs there's a cozy room. The main dish was delicious. I strongly suggest the 'quasi veau'.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
