If I'm in Paris again will definitely dine here. Every one in my party enjoyed their order, starters to dessert. The duck was beautifully cooked, I loved my Turbot fish. The food was absolutely amazing! Flavours you'd never think would work but were incredible. Friendliest and professional staff ,always smiling and being polite and helpful. Felt very welcome there.

Chef Makato Aoki in cuisine and his spouse in the room are serving very good French cuisine. Food is very tasty and always well prepared, based on a relatively small core menu, complemented by seasonal/market dishes. Nice selection of wines. Service is attentive and made with heart, thought I would consider it as more amateur than really professional. The small... More

We had an early dinner. The food was very interesting and tasted great. The place is not very fancy, and the bill is not too high either. Very good value for money. The service was not ideal, mainly due to the fact that the waitress didn't know English too well. We had a good time!

We went to this French-Japanese restaurant few years ago with friends on an evening dinner, after we read an extremely positive review. We had a great experience. I went back on lunch time and tried the midday menu (first and second course for EUR 24). Well it just is a great experience as you get for this price a one... More

The food, prepared by a Japanese chef, is hearty and generous traditional French food. You feel the attention to details. I personally found on general a bit too much on the salty side but my French colleagues found it just right. If you have health issues you may want to ask them to go easy on the salt. The 38-EUR... Expecting a Japanese restaurant, we were surprised to find a three course menu of around four choices each for €38. The food was amazing. Subtle flavours and generous serves presented beautifully.. One of the best restaurant meals ever. A quiet street close to Champs Élysées.

Mid-week reservation for the early evening. When we arrived we were the only customers. The food had good flavor but the duck was a little under. As other tables filled up the service seemed to slow to a crawl. Wound up with a good 15 minute wait between the main course and the dessert.

A real find We ate dinner two evenings and the food was superb both evenings. They served three course menus with dishes changing every week (I think). We ate filet de boeuf Francais Oignon the first evening and for an starter we had a soup with celery and mushrooms. Very good. For dessert we got figs. We chose a red... More

Makoto's food is noble, simple, honest but still so divine....You feel the love, the exactitude in every move he makes on the plate...Close to perfection...It is simply harder and harder to find such high quality in Paris these days at an affordable price....So...don't think twice...Dial the number and make a reservation...You will be delighted....

My first course I pick was scallop with passions sous. First I thought it was weird combination but it was so delicious that I almost like the plate up. My Maine course I chose a beef stew with gnocchi and it was exactly same thing with my first course. It was so good! The beef was perfect cook. Every time... More
