The owner was very hospitable and chatty. There are a few tables downstairs otherwise you sit very close to others on large tables which is OK if you don't mind chatting which was fine for us. At the weekends I think there are more tables upstairs. The food is of a very good quality and we enjoyed our meal very... More

The owner was wonderful, the meal was great and had a great wine selection! Master Sommelier who love to drink and share stories about wine! Great quick meal for the end of a long day!

Beautifully decorated restaurant with an award winning sommelier. The food was creative and prepared with care and quite delicious. The service was attentive, accommodating and relaxed. The maitre'd (Franck) was so helpful and friendly in accommodating lactose intolerance, gluten allergies and vegetarian restrictions. Delicious food prepared with care. The in-house sommelier suggested an excellent bottle that was very reasonably priced.... More

This was a wonderful place, the food was delightful, service was top notch and the choice of wines was very good! This was our favorite restaurant in Paris and would highly recommend! It was suggested to us by the breakfast host at our hotel and it was spot on. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, Frederic the owner greeted us... More

Our courses were really delightful and the service was excellent, but what amazed me the most was vine list. The choice of vines is fantastic!

On a very quiet and cold evening we selected Louvre Bouteille as convenient spot close to our accommodation. It was a lucky choice, with good cooking and excellent wine choice. We stayed in the downstairs area which is more bistro like (high tables), and were serviced very well.

You'll make no mistake, you are in an excellent bistro and not a gastronomical restaurant. Those who made the confusion in a review have an evaluation problem. I discovered this restaurant by organizing an unscheduled lunch at the feet up in the center of Paris. The address is very central Rue St. Honore near the Louvre and offers great bistrot... More

Recommended by a customer and they accommodation a table of 12 on a Tuesday evening with no issue. Wonderful food, service with the personal touch of speaking to the owner Frédéric Lebel and the chef. Frédéric is a Master Sommelier and the wine and food selection / combinations were superb. Would Highly recommend - a place not to be missed.
