I can’t recommend this place enough. The food is amazing and the hosts are delightful. If you want traditional French cuisine cooked with love then this is the place to go.

We had a great dinner at Le Coin after stumbling upon the restaurant while exploring the neighborhood. The regular menu looked great, full of well known traditional dishes. We chose the two specials for the evening and were not disappointed. The boudin noir was the first time I’d eaten blood sausage that wasn’t heavily salted. Loved the apples with a dab of onion confit. The wife had chicken that came with a sauce similar to tarte au citron making each bite sweet and savory. It also had ratatouille which could have been a dish on its own. For dessert, we spent a crème brûlée that had a fantastic custard. Excellent service. Excellent price point. Other customers appeared to be locals returning from their summer holiday. I look forward to returning in the winter and eating so much I fall asleep.

Visit the restaurant every time we are in Paris, for many years now. Service is the same, owners and staff always welcoming, always fit you in. Visited Friday, "Red" had vegetable potage and salad with cheese, a special order that wasn't an issue. Me, tomato and mozzarella starter and Confit de Canard. Glasses of red wine were recommended by the hostess, and we weren't disappointed. Nice meal, pleasant atmosphere.

Wow. Thank you fellow Trip Advisor reviewers for recommending Au Coin! We were looking for an authentic, reasonably priced dinner convenient to our Etoile location and Au Coin was perfect. Service provided by the owners was friendly, helpful and efficient. We shared a tomato/ burata salad and a Greek spread (delicious!). My aiguilettes de poulet ( sliced chicken breast in a citrus-y marinade with pommels purée and ratatouille was great as was my husband’s salade d’auvergne with duck. Our friend’s lamb dish ( I forget the name but it was braised with vegetables) looked fabulous. The patron and patronne were just lovely and really made us feel at home. Plus, their adorable little dog Poppy keeps an eye on things. Highly recommend!

We have loved this restaurant in the past and went out of our way to revisit! The owners were hospitable but the food was below average! Soggy leeks, lamb a bit chewy, confit de canard was dry and the roast potatoes were not crispy and were covered in raw garlic!
House wine was decent but 20 euros for a 500cl pitchet!
Someone should be checking the quality of the food that’s presented!

This gem was very near our hotel and I had heard of it, so wanted to try it. Thank goodness we had a reservation! We figured they wouldn’t be busy at 7pm on a Thursday night, but made the reservation anyway. They were full almost immediately. They were incredibly accommodating even with my limited French. This is a very small space with authentic, delicious French food. Everyone we saw enter after us were locals and seemed to know the owner. We had a fantastic meal and really enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend but make sure you book in advance!

Le Coin is right across the street from the Relais Monceau where I stayed. It is very French, warm, inviting and has good food. It is casual and looks to be popular with the locals.

Excellent food and service. They speak English and are welcoming to everyone. Could not recommend more. Ordered the sirloin with pepper sauce, and it was spectacular.

We went there for lunch. Even though busy, the owner found us a nice outdoor table. We got tartare and 2 sirloin steaks. Everything very good and price adequate. On average 17 to 20 euros per plate.

The place is small, busy and noisy but the menu is great with only traditional meals from France. If you want to taste céleri rémoulade, go for it, it’s really well prepared. As the chef prepares daily small quantities of each meal, better to go early if you want to taste “quenelle de brochet”. I will come back for it as I had to go for chitterlings instead. Don’t hesitate, try it.

Came here with friends on Friday evening.
Lovely French restaurant, very friendly considering we had basic French.
Food was very good, a couple of us had steaks which were amazing.
Will return when back in Paris.

Best to avoid.
If you want to be insulted, served bad food and disappointed, then go.
They were rude, served a grizzly tasteless steak, and didn’t care.
The only highlight was the dog, Ben.

My mother had the Os à moëlle and was really happy. The place is typical french and serves very good food.
