Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small restaurant serving delicious fresh organic food and wine. The lentil and proscuitto special most delicious. Very friendly and professional service. Elegant and clean.

We decided to try Le Petit Jacob for dinner having passed it the day before and liking the look of the menu. We returned and had a very enjoyable experience. We started with a delicious Pumpkin and Carrot consume followed by a Greek salad and...citron tart. They have a very good selection of wine and soft drinks, we unfortunately were the only couple in there which is a shame as the food and service is great. We finished with a delightful conversation with the owner and made our way back to our hotel feeling full and relaxed. I would urge others to try this restaurant when in Paris.More

We sat for 45 minutes waiting for our salad, in this small restaurant run by 2 people in total. Only another table was occupied and they got their food after us....When my Greek salad arrived it contained: 2 leaf of lettuce (actually it should not...be in a Greek salad), 1 small tomato cut in cubes, 3 olive 4 tiny piece of feta and a third of small cucumber diced. For the price of 12 euro!!!!! Not even a little bit of oregano!!!! I can do much much better at home in less than 10 minutesMore

After days of eating rich, three course meals, I wanted nothing more than a glass of wine and a small salad. Le Petit Jacob was the perfect find. With no more than 20 chairs, the restaurant/wine bar offered a perfect deconstructed salad of lentils in...a light vinaigrette, with cucumbers and jambon on the side. The light coating of olive oil and pepper on the cucumbers, and the sweet-tart vinaigrette were right on target. Combining this with a nice choice of both reds and whites, and I was one happy tourist.More

Shared the charcuterie plate for two plus Beaujolais to wash it down. Nice quiet place to eat rather than the hustle and bustle of the street cafe's. Lovely fresh food and friendly service.

This restaurant has a wonderful relaxed and warm setting. We had delicious, fresh, and light food here with excellent wine to go with it. The salads were fresh and healthy. My husband had the smoked salmon plate which was wonderful and I had the greek...salad- perfect! We also had an excellent cheese plate. We would highly recommend this lovely restaurant.More

This is one of my favourite places to eat in Paris with a nice selection of light food and wine by the glass. I had soup, savoury crepe and a very generous selection of cheeses to finish. Just right!

I walked by this cozy, beckoning cafe twice soon after my arrival at a nearby hotel and really liked its looks. The charming place features a narrow room with two comfortable easy chairs just inside the entrance, high tables with stools against a wall and...limited counter seating. The rear holds additional comfortable furniture. Customers seemed to be involved in meaningful conversations rather than checking phones. So, when I looked at my watch in my hotel room at 10 p.m. and realized I had not eaten since lunch, I headed out to Le Petit Jacob, hoping it would be open. Not only was the door unlocked, but two customers sipping tea in the easy chairs greeted me warmly as did a young woman behind the counter. I felt as if I had come home after a long day of trying to iron out significant travel problems. I looked at the light menu, which includes soups, salads, crepes, coffee and the list continues, finally deciding on a bagel with salmon, avocado and tomatoes. Faced with unfinished business, I took my order to go and left wishing I had the time to stay behind. The bagel was absolutely delicious.More

We had a business lunch in Petit Jacob. We felt we were participating in a rehearsal pre-opening lunch. The whole experience was very unsettling. After a good start ans friendly welcome, our order was quickly taken. Then we waited for a plate of charcuterie and...vegetables and a cheese and ham pancake. After 20 mins of wait we were disappointed to found out that the pancake came without the cheese in it mistake from the kitchen? and my side order of vegetables was forgotten altogether. We asked for a cheese plate as a replacement hoping that it would be fast... Not. There is no effort made to present the dish in a professional manner. The product are in no way exceptional I honestly felt cheated when we got the bill for 46 euros. Then I felt aggravated when we had to asked several times to pay our bill. I will no be coming back.More
