Our first night in Paris, walking home and looking for a place to eat, we decided to give this a try. Very happy we did. It was a great experience all around and I would go back. The pizza was first rate and the appetizer and entree we ordered was very good, as well. Our embarrassment of our poor French... More

We were walking through the neighbourhood and almost passed by. We were met at the door while perusing the menu and went in. He spent a great deal of time going through the menu and wine list with us. We had the "Classical Caprese" to start. Juicy mozzarella with cherry tomatoes and basil. Outstanding ingredients and a large portion.....good for... More

We found it when we didn't get a table at Salento (also a good Italian restaurant). Had dinner here and tried out the pizza sampler which was very good. Bit pricey.

Have now eaten here twice in one week. Love the food and the gentlemen that work here. I will crave the pizza when I'm home.

Came across this little restaurant by chance and really pleased we did. Although we couldn’t understand the menu Christophe was more than helpful and happily translated it for us and his wine recommendation was perfect. We chose the vegetarian lasagna which was delicious. I do not understand some of the negative reviews! I would definitely recommend it and would go... More

Stumbled upon this gem by accident and couldn't be happier about it. They had a vegetarian option clearly marked as such on the menu and it was soooooo good. Parmigiano siciliano, layers of eggplant with a tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil. Sounds so simple that I can't figure out why it was so delicious. Would come back for sure.

The food and service was really good but it the food is very expensive. A pizza sampler was $22E and there was not much food there. I think there are better values nearby.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
