Good Thai food at Mdme Shawn Bistrot, they make very tasty starters and I love the bo-bun. A bit pricy in the evening, but good value for lunch as a 2 or 3 courses menu. Very friendly staff and Thai atmosphere.

Great meal friendly service english menu a great help. Spring rolls, chicken curry with sticky rice and a Stella make for a fine dinner.

We decided to go back to Mme Shawn in the Marchė St Honorė last night, after several good meals in the last year or so. The restaurant is always busy. Firstly, the staff member who greeted us was rude, not managing to find our name in their reservations book - bad start. We were 7 and led to the basement... More

We stopped in this Thai restaurant bu chance. We were lucky, because it's amazing! The ambient and decoration are nice, but nothing special, but the food! Delicious! Super-creamy coconut curry, raw shrimps salad, chicken brochettes with peanut sauce... Everything was perfect. Moreover, the bistro is on Canal St. Martin, a picturesque (but not super-touristic) spot in Paris.

We stopped in here for a late dinner after catching up with some friends for drinks close by, upon their recommendation. What a treat! Red Thai Salmon Curry was brilliant, as was the Beef on Plaque Chauffant (sizzling plate). Could have went back there every night to be honest! The value for money was very good, and the service was... More

Madame Shawn was recommended by some local friends. We are both from NYC and are familer with good Thai food. The food and the atmosphere did not disapoint us. The Panang and Pad Thai was some of the best we have ever had. An added bonus was this was that it was not in a touristy section. Because it was... More

After a last stroll along Canal Saint-Martin before leaving the City we decided to have a coffee and stumbled across Mme Shawn which looked very inviting. What a lucky find, the decor was great, the seating comfortable, plus the coffee good. We enjoyed talking to the friendly guy who even knew about Portsmouth Football Club when we mentioned we came... This restaurant has recently had a refit, and although there are several branches, the one on rue des Recollets is the best. The ambience is very inviting. The food is good with fresh flavours and nicely composed dishes. Excellent fish. Some of the dishes that used to be served on hotplates now come on bits of wood, which means that food... More
