The food was very nice, big plates and tasty. The service was slow and not so friendly. If the street floor is crowded, go to the 2nd floor.

This place is very weel situated, on a main street of the Marais Area. Its terrace is large and very nice by the summer time. However, sunny are over (it seems). I had their most expensive pizza in the new room they have just opened (thanks for this horrible air conditionning that was either cooking us or freezing us). I... More

Sir, I am really sorry for your bad experiment in our restaurant. Concerning the new room, there is no air conditionning but only some hot air that maybe need régulation and the room was not completely finished. Concerning the problem with the food, i am really surprised because we take care of the hygiena regulations (DLC, temperature of the fridge...).... More

Very welcoming to get you in the door but the service after that was poor - no one should have to ask for pepper and dining alone the waiter decided bread was not to be brought to the table. The lasagne was good and a good portion, one of the only restaurants noted where you could order a side salad.... More

Came here for lunch. Service was fast and friendly. Food arrived 10-15 after orderding. Caesar salad was crisp and tasty. Pasta was hot and delicious. Coffee drinks were great as well. Great place to have a quick get in/out lunch or a long relaxing one as well.

Year after year and visit after visit, we always include a dinner at Cafe Vito and we have never been disappointed. We have sent friends there and they also liked it. Great street side (and indoor) cafe scene. This is located in the middle of the Marais district and it is always busy. Enjoy the evening, enjoy the food and... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
