The food is good, they have that french "formules" that includes starter, main course and dessert for 13 euros ou 21 euros. French cuisine is OK. Hamburgers are fine. Good coise of wines by glass. And the location: it is a 300 metres from the Sacre Coeur church.

I stopped by here whilst looking for another place I had visited before. I am glad that I did. We had the 'Plat du Jour' option and it offered a good choice, excellent value and as it turns out a lovely meal. The staff were very friendly and I would happily return.

My husband and I have been staying in the Montmartre section of Paris for five days. We have wandered around in the evenings trying different cafes and restaurants. Unfortunately, most of them were disappointing. However, this evening we saw the Cafe du Mont Cenis and after looking at the menu, we sat down. The main courses looked interesting, so my... More

Cafe du Mont Cenis offers a nice escape from walking Montmartre on a rainy day. They have great selection of teas, wines, excellent crepes. Next time I will definitely stop by and will explore other dishes on the menu.

My wife and I took the Eurostar from London to Paris for the day. Unfortunately, the weather gods frowned on our choice of days, it was cold, rainy, and even snowed a bit. Despite that we had a great walking tour and ended up wet and tired in Montmartre, looking for a warm spot to catch an early bite and... More

Really nice service, the waiter was so nice to explain us wverything on the menu in english. The lunch we ordered were the fish and the pork and both were delicious. The mushroom soup we had for the entre and the apple dessert was amazing as well! Also the lunch set was priced at 15€ which is amazing for what... More

We went here about three times in eight days, the first of which was when we first arrived from the airport train and taxi to our vacation rental across the street on Rue du Monte Cenis. We were starving, jet lagged, and with a little cajoling from my wife (very little cajoling), the waiter brought us the cheese and sausage... More

This place was such a favourite place of mine over the last few years but unfortunately the ownership has changed . The warm welcome we previously enjoyed was sadly lacking and the service indifferent ! The food was only reasonable , which in a city of fantastic cuisine like Paris isn't good enough ! Huge disappointment!

A traditional Paris cafe, like most now has happy hours 1730-2130 each day so good for a quick drink or a meal. Can get busy on weekends.

Stopped for wine and plate of bread and cheese....bill was 19.50 euros. Paid with a 20 and 10 euro note,,,,,waiter came back and gave me .50 euro change.....and then said "that is okay, yes"......a 10 euro tip on a 19.50 euro bill is a bit presumptious. Purely an attempt to intimidate a tourist---not acceptable.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
