Our tour guide said the The Smiths was the best choice for coffee and a pastry on a street lined with patisseries, and she was right. We enjoyed some of the best eclairs we have ever had, as well delightful hot chocolate. A perfect mid-morning...experience.More

Rude staff member ruined experience. Ordered two decaffeinated coffees, quite clearly stating decaf in both French and English. Arrived caffeinated. When asked to change he said we’d need to pay for new ones! Incredibly rude. Also toasted a smoked salmon bagel and cooked the salmon...as a result without asking. Lots of good places in Paris to go without needing to be insulted by a jumped up employee. Shame as the food looked quite nice and the bagel originally would have been good but with the salmon now cooked it was inedible.More

Wow! We loved this bakery and went there several times while staying at the nearby Hotel Dauphine St. Germaine (I hope I spelled it correctly). The staff is incredibly friendly and super nice to Americans who know very little French! We loved their pastries and...everything else they have to offer. I highly recommend this bakery and encourage you to visit it often!More

Nice place for a fast breakfast. Nice street on the way to tourists attractions, small place (no tables inside, just 2 or 3 outside), excellent coffee and pastries, and very friendly service.

It was one of the best food places that i visited in paris. Nice location and the bakery is really beautiful inside. All the food that i have tasted there was AMAZING. Quiche Lorraine 10/10 and the Lemon Pie Merenge it was the best sweet...that i tasted all my life. The prices are kinda expensive, like all city, but worth it.More

This is a small bakery, and I did not eat in (only limited space to do so). I did however take away a slice of apple tart and a slice of banoffee pie. They were amazing, some of the best desserts I have ever had;...so fresh and buttery and delicious.More

We came here for afternoon tea on Christmas day and thought the bakery looked inviting with good food, we were disappointed. Service is poor and unhelpful, it's self service, so nobody clears the tables which were piled with previous people's plates and crumbs. The server...was pretty rude too. The coffees were awful, the woman pressed some buttons on her machine and cafeteria quality hot chocolate and cappuccino came out. Finally my apple crumble was a gooey mess that just tasted sweet. I wouldn't return.More

They do serve fresh quiche, it’s delicious! We had it for breakfast a couple times over a couple trips. I don’t think they sell out early like the Palmiers do.
