I loved 24x36! It was recommended by a local and was low key in all the right ways with great food, lovely wine and charming service. The waitress took the time to explain the meal in English, which was much appreciated as my French struggles...More

What a great suggestion our Parisian friends gave us! We found this little place nearly perfect. Excellent and ample cuisine, off the tourist path, friendly, and relatively inexpensive. We had one minor language malfunction which delayed my husband's main dish, but we had no need...More

Simple but hand-made food, good choice of wines, reasonable prices, courtesy and friendly service. A good address in Paris that gets around the idea that Paris is expensive. You just need to find the right place!!

We stumbled across this amazing little bistro by accident, late at night, but staff were more than happy to accommodate us. They were incredibly friendly and their recommendations superb. Prices are reasonable, and the chef, who speaks great English, insisted we try some of his...More

We found ourselves in the area and knowing nothing of the restaurants quickly sat down at a table near closing time. The staff was hospitable and the food was delicious. The leeks vinaigrette was superb. Delicious roasted potatoes with beef steak and shallots. Perfectly cooked...More

Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise
lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and
impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small
parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy
Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois
de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on
its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to
this calming neighbourhood where real Parisians make
