My wife and I had a breakfast in this cafe. We ordered off their special titled "Typical Parisien Breakfast" consist of coffee, plain croissant and orange juice. It was good enough but pricey for what you get. Service was ok, waiter speaks English which was helpful. Overall, it is just OK.

Just like what you'd imagine a typical Parisien restaurant is - outside seating on the corner intersection of a big road - pavement café type then inside a bar where you can sit or stand and chat with friends and ample indoor restaurant seating as well. A good and varied menu - four of us ordered four different dishes and... More

I rarely put in a bad review, but this place just deserved it. The good: location and the facility are good. Service was chaotic and brusk. My wife's order of chicken quiche came out before I even got an order in! At that point we just decided to just share hers. The salad was ok. The quiche just awful. A... More

This café is always busy. We had lunch there the other day and were very pleased. We had two very good salads. It is more expensive than Café de la Place, across the street, but is perhaps better.

Its located in a great spot on the corner of a busy junction and next to metro station. Wanted a coffee - ended up going for a mocktail in the middle of the afternoon. Wasn't particularly good and expensive for what it was. But if you are after the atmosphere its a great spot.

Great place for your morning or afternoon ritual. I go for coffee and an omelette in the am and drinks late afternoon. Friendly service.

The ever busy Odessa offers good food and ambiance all day - but will make you pay for this. Service was quick and helpful - and the staff spoke english.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
