Every time I come to Paris i visit Maison de Gyros. Their pita wraps with meat, sauces, tomatoes, lettuce and even fries are the best comfort food ever. And it is really cheap as well.

Poor quality, it is not even meat. I think it is only fat, overcooked, without even a smile. Avoid if you like food

We came early in the day so maybe we got yesterday's fries and lettuce. I had about 2 shreds of chicken in my wrap. The guy asked where I am from and being that I said America maybe he gave special crappy treatment? The worst place we ate at in Paris on our trip. You've been warned.

This place was found by accident as we walked down a street near Notre Dame. The street was lined with small restaurants but we noticed a place selling wraps that seemed to be packed. So we decided to give it a try. It was delicious. We came back the next day for seconds. We usually buy the wraps to go... More

It is a place that you have to eat at when you visit paris. They have the best gyros in the area. However, they have their ups and downs talking about the taste of chicken. But in most situations, it is delicious. I advice every one to have a try.

The price got us in the door but the gyros were less than expected. Very dry, flaky meat that tasted more like dark turkey that the lamb and beef mixture we're used to eating. Not bad, just disappointed.

For a very quick eat, the gyro was big and tasty. I don't know about the other options at the eatery, but I was happy with the sandwich I had.

Sausage very tasty. Fries crisp and hot. Not a lot of seating, so arrive early if you have 4 or more. If they are full, you can get your order to go for 0.50 Euro less per plate.

Lots of these places in the vicinity; we chose this one because it appeared to have more seating options. Staff were helpful. Food was average, although certainly not expensive. Might choose a different one next time

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
