A place we read about and wanted to try out. We walked from notredame. Smaller than thought, we planned to take a break and eat there but there's only 3 tiny tables. Depends when U go. Cases are filled when u order. 4 choices of fillings ,all light and delicious. We took a box of 12 but wish we took... More

This little tucked away shop specializes in chou- which they do very well! These very much reminded me of cream puffs. They are a flaky pastry filled with cream. The biggest difference is that the cream is tangier and less sweet- it almost reminded me of the flavor of ricotta in that way. There were a few main flavors, which... More

This lovely little shop was located downstairs from our vacation rental apartment on Rue de Furstemberg in Saint Germain-des-Pres, so it was easy to pop into but. However, as it is just a block or so from the busy steet of Rue du Buci, if you are anywhere near the area, it is definitely worth going slightly out of your... More

Happened upon this place while walking through this quaint area. Decided to stop in because I noticed some delicious looking cream puff pastries in the window. I ordered a chocolate one. Absolutely delicious. The puffs are filled with a delicious creamy cheese at the time you order so they are really fresh. Also you get an extra amount of filling... More

The best Chou I had ever. The place is small elegant in a very posh area and simple but yet grand. The process watching the filling of the Chou is superb. Expensive but worth it.

This beautifully located shop has been hit or miss! Sometimes the puff pastries are great, other times they taste bland , as if they had been frozen. If you are in the neighborhood and want to satisfy you sweet tooth, consider this place. I don't feel it has the consistency of the cooking I've come to expect from Chef Martinez!

We stumbled upon this patisserie! And had to turn the handle to realise that it was open ! It really is hidden!! We had classique and chocolate filled choux puffs ( we would traditionally call these cream puffs) The puffs were filled to order. We also had a coffee and a tea . The little room was warm - hot... Discovered this small gem during a "Paris by Mouth" food tour. They specialize in creme puffs which are filled to order. The creme and chocolate melted in our mouths. Great place for an afternoon treat if you are in the area.

What else can I say? The sell nothing but cream puffs and they're delicious. In the mornings, they also have coffee.

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
