We went late on a cold week night & only locals were in the bar. We had great service, the bartender explained how to drink the absinthe, I've never had it traditionally that way before. Really cool atmosphere. I only wish we found it sooner.

Have been to the Cafe many times on visits to Paris. Food is solid if predictable for Cafe's in Paris. This Cafe has the added benefits of being non-touristic and a haunt of locals. Staff and management are funky and fun.

We spent an evening here treating ourselves to a couple of rounds of the show & experience that is absinthe, burning sugar cubes et al, as well as a few draught beers. Loved it, the bar is reasonably priced for Paris, the staff were very...More
