In general I would never eat in the hotel restaurant but this time it was really worthwhile making an exception: great food, great wine and fantastic ambiance. Very friendly service.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at the Edouard 7 in May. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. I had the saddle of rabbit and my husband had the plat du jour. we were both very pleased and would go back on a future visit to Paris.

Located just down the street from Palais Garnier (Opera), Hotel Edouard 7 is a swanky hotel with a fine dining restaurant on the side. Our night was a real French restaurant experience, especially where it is situated in Paris, but also because of the quality of service and presentation of the exquisite cuisine. We started off with champagne and aside... More

Expect to wait a little between courses as everything is prepared to top standards. However, the wait is well worthwhile when the dishes arrive.

Try this great French beer. Enjoy sitting outside in the evening and take in Parisian nightlife. The warm summer nights makes all of this so enjoyable.

The breakfast was good but too expensive for what it is. Walk a little down the street to "Paul" where you will pay half the price and get better quality.

terrible dinner : avoid. turkey that does not look or taste like a turkey, pumpking pie very far from a pie: a piece of biscuit with a few drops of "pumpkin" cream on top , etc worse dinner ever .

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
