Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Whilst named after a Thai island, the restaurant serves both Thai and Vietnamese food. We popped in for dinner and found the food to be good and the service to be friendly. I love Papaya Salad but it is very hard to find the authentic...taste outside Thailand, partly due to a key ingredient (fermented fish) being unavailable. This restaurant makes a decent effort with their Papaya Salad, but it wasn't spicy enough (despite having a chili sticking out of it as decoration). I had the Beef Pho as a main course. It came with fresh Thai basil, beansprouts and lemon on the side. I found it to be quite enjoyable. Thai Singha beer helped to wash it all down.More

Wonderful setting that has unlimited potential. Only downfall is the cleanliness of the island. Locals should take more pride in their hidden paradise and make it more appealing to the touristsMore

Excellent service and very clean restaurant. However, we did not find the taste of the Vietnamese cuisine to be authentic. For example, I ordered the vegetarian bo bun and the noodles were soaked in a hoisin sauce, which isn't the typical fish sauce you get...with bo bun. The steamed rice rolls were the only dish we thought was good. The rest of the dishes were average and lacked authenticity.More

Thai/Vietnamese restaurant. Very very clean restaurant. Friendly Service Food was delightful and not greasy at all. Shrimp rolls, Vietnamese pork dumplings and Pad Thai were all winning selections.

Very nice people but the food is not to the taste we expected. For example, the thai pad had a curry taste, the bo bun was lacking of fish sauce taste. Very clan place, was really impressed by the cleanliness of the toilets.

We've come here on a Sunday evening for a 7pm meal - while the other restaurants in the area appeared to be packed, this one was not. We still had a booking via thefork (incl discount) so not sure if this is usually busier. We...had starters to share and different mains (thai food and pho) and also decided to share desserts. Out of the three courses, desserts were my least favourite but I am not big on SEA desserts. Had a nice meal and would return if in the area again!More

Ate here last night with a friend, and it was delicious. We each had the 18.80 euro 3-course menu. Excellent shrimp and lemongrass soup, beef salad, and they were accommodating when I wanted to have red curry chicken instead of green. Really generous portions and...reasonably priced. Based on how good the food was (and the value and service), I can't believe it wasn't more crowded! Go and bring your friends!More

The restaurant was very nice, the waiter was very friendly but we have a problem to communicate with him cause he didn't speak English and in the menu didn't had picture of the food. Although the food was extraordinary nice and we feel the chef's...love in our food. I recommend it. I will be back soon.More

The Vietnamese and Thai cuisine offered on the menu was a jumbled mix of inaccurate Vietnamese and Thai, sometimes on the same item. We ordered a selection of Thai-based soups and seafood, together with Vietnamese rice noodles but were disappointed with taste. My wife is...from Vietnam and we have spent quite a bit of time in Thailand, so we were familiar with the dishes ordered. To top it off, the restaurant staff were Chinese, so I suspect that the chef may not have much experience with Vietnamese or Thai cuisine.More
