Located near our hotel we 'fell into' this place for convenience but were very impressed by menu, food and service. Best avoided over lunch with many locals but morning evening and night it offers great food good friendly service and reasonable prices for Paris.

If you like meat, this small but very busy restaurant is the place to be. Friendly staff. Use of English is highly feasible. Comfortable seating. Clean environment. Large selection of food available. No wifi. Authentic french food. Near the British consulate office. Mainly locals dine here. Payment with cash or bank card is permitted. Decent espresso.

Found this little bistro on our first night in Paris, we were staying in an expensive part of town, so the prices here were a really pleasant surprise; good food, well cooked and a decent glass of wine.

There is not much around this area of Paris in terms of restaurants if you want something more casual and less costly... But this one is a true neighborhood gem. The service is good and the staff friendly, which is not that common in central Paris if you don't speak French. The food is decent, the wine OK and the... More

This is a little neighborhood cafe I visited in "District 8" (8th Arrondissement) right across from the Buddha Bar. It is comfortable and cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful with explaining the menu to us despite a little language barrier. I had the Canard (duck) and it was perfect!! I had eaten a lot of ducks and this is... More

I work around the corner. i have cheap take-out, pre-made, plastic-tasting food places for when i am in a hurry. but as soon as i have some time to spare, and by that i mean even 30 minutes, this is where you find me. henry's is the best tasting, cheapest, most pleasing and fastest diner in the area. no question... Our meetup group (http://www.meetup.com/Paris-Culture-Lovers/) had just finished a visit to the Velazquez exhibit at Grand Palais and were a prowling group of 8 that wanted food, but not just any food: we wanted good French food. A hop, skip, and several jumps from the Champs is Le Comptoir. Good food, reasonably priced and that ever rare bird in France: courteous... More
