Very nice little café, located near the popular rue des Martyrs, but with fewer tourists. The chef is very nice, delicious cakes and plenty of choices.

We enjoyed hot chocolate with cinnamon and one with coffee. Its a great spot with a good menu. The owner served us and offered us stories, and info on the city. Definitely a place to go again.

Passing bye, we were friendly invited to this freshly opened restaurant/ shop with nice terrace in front. The menu is small, but the products are very tasty. The owner served us very well, accompying the products with short entertaining story. Try the white wine with red Pepper in it, it tastes like grilled sweetpepper and goes well with the planchet... Charming Basque-themed café / épicerie near Sacré Cœur in Paris. The chili chocolate is a must-try and i was served real (read: not typically French) coffee. It's on my to-go list to return and try the Basque wine and charcuterie!

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
