Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After a few days in Paris with incredibly disappointing gluten free experiences, it was a delight to find this cafe, busy but quick service, nice area to sit. Lots of options of sweets, bread and some savoury focaccia such as cheese/tomato. Highlights were the sugar...bread, the eclair and choquettes (a bag of 10 is nowhere near enough!) My non gluten free family weren’t quite as impressed as me especially as there were no croissants but it was a massive treat for me as a coeliac and the staff were friendly enough. Prices a little high as with everything gluten free.More

As a person with celiac disease I was a bit worried not being able to have breakfast in Paris. Im very happy to have found Chambelland- we had the breakfast deal with glutenfree toast, marmelade, coffee and juice. The bread was really great and the...café part was nice to sit in. I really recommend coming here.More

Pros: - Friendly staff, - good pastries, - neat place. Cons: - charging each food item with a « sur place » premium is unfair, in my opinion. - the prices are noticeably high; rice-flour pastries are sold for a price of almond-flour ones. Conclusion: if you...do not have gluten intolerance, better go elsewhere for tastier and broader assortment, saving money as a bonus.More

We loved the éclairs and small baguettes here - this was the best gluten free on our trip to Paris. As someone with celiac disease I was so happy to eat a delicious éclair and feel like I was just on a regular trip to...Paris, enjoying beautiful patisserie, like everyone else. We'll be back to the bakery again for sure.More

This is the second time I visited this cafe. My husband ordered the vegetarian sandwich and I ordered focaccia for lunch. My husband is not gluten free and found the sandwich to be good but not as good as a regular panini. I really loved...my onion anchovy focaccia. They also have a big selection of pastries.More

Delightful little bakery and cafe. Possibly the best cappuccino of my life Allergy friendly options. Staff is knowledgeable of ingredients. Go early for best selection because these fresh baked goodies sell out.

We enjoyed delicious gluten free focaccia, cookies, and lemon bread and delicious cafe creme and cappaccinos on our first day in Paris and it knocked back the jet lag!

My traveling buddy is Celiac so we wanted to find some GF options for him. We tried Chambelland Boulangerie for breakfast one morning and just beat the rush. Everything we tried was really good. A couple of items had the grainy texture you sometimes get...with non-wheat flours, but certainly not a deal-breaker. The Cookie Classique (chocolate chip cookie) was amazing. My friend loved it, and took extra bread for later so when we were eating elsewhere where they had no GF bread option, he could have his own. We were in Paris for a week and ate at Chambelland twice. The second time we bought extra cookies for snacks. They also had juices and a full coffee menu. A very popular morning stop for eats and coffee so expect a line, but it moves quickly.More

With two celiacs in the family, we scout out GF bakeries in advance. We discovered Chambelland during our last trip and with the most recent visit it didn't fail to impress again. Yes, it's expensive. Maybe that's something that we've gotten used to as it's...also the case in large American cities. At Chambelland, however, you don't have to sacrifice the Paris bakery experience because of gluten. Will return again!More

Great bio bread cooked without yeast. We enjoyed their breakfast very much. It is also a great setting, seating outside and people watching in this Oberkampf neighborhood. We just moved here and will come back often

I took 1 expresso and one simple croissant: 3.40 euros ! Price so expensive when you see that the coffee is an automatic machine giving socket juice coffee with no any flavour. Croissant was good at least: fresh and delicious. Service bad forgetting spoon and...sugar... I really do not recommend this place: expensive and no interest!More
