From the moment we entered the restaurant, we experienced great customer service from the owner and her son. The food was cooked to a very high standard and for great value too. This is a must go to place!

Like going to a Madagascan mama's house for lunch. Simple foods, homemade and simply awesome. Don't expect professional service like restaurants do because the owner served us really personally and well (even when it was busy). Will go there again when in the area. Awesome!! :)

Staying close to Tina's restaurant and needing food without walking far we ate went there expecting a mediocre (perhaps curry) meal Brilliant surprise ! Delicious just about sums it up Mixed starters were fun and filling Husband's chicken and my beef were seasoned so subtley and the portions were big Other patrons were clearly locals. I would not feel out... More

Our best meal in Paris was a charming surprise in this tiny Madagascar food oasis! Our host/cook/owner was so friendly, you would think she was a long lost friend. And the food was unique and delicious!

My first time to ever have Madagascar food. It was so good. But the best part was the service. We were on our way to Moulin Rouge and running late for some dinner. The owner herself got us in and out in just the amount of time. It was a joy to eat her homemade food and share her hospitality... More

I read about Marianina on trip advisor when looking for places to eat near my hotel. I ended up eating there three nights on the trot. The food is excellent and amazing value at €15 for a two courses. The owner was very gracious and cooked all the food fresh with the help of one other lady. I highly recommend... More

Across the road from our hotel, we stumble upon Marianina eatery. It specialized in Madagascar Cuisine, and we thoroughly enjoyed the dishes. The stir-fry beef is served with soup is a highlight. For lunch, they do a 11.50 Euro set which comes with a can of drink and also entree. Highly recommended.

This place is near the Moulin Rouge in Paris. It's about a 7 minute walk down the street. If you want some great food that is not on the typical tourist path but close to it GO HERE! I have never had for from Madagascar but it is very tasty. The menu changes daily and I like that. The woman... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
