We had just reached Paris, and was recommended to eat here, we enjoyed the food as it was food we were familiar with, we were greeted by an American woman who helped me with my allergies, and answered my questions. Although there was no dairy or gluten free items, I had 2 fried eggs and their home potatoes which were... More

During a recent getaway to Paris I craved a large American style breakfast. I read some online reviews and set off on a 40 minute (2 metro) journey to Breakfast in America. As we got off the road and walked towards the place it didn't look great, signs outside from the road looked a little cheap or run down but... More

English speaking staff, endless refill on coffee and staples of good american breakfast make this place an exotic place for visiting in Paris! I ordered white chocolate blueberry pancakes and wow... What a cloudy soft and also a hearty breakfast! I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a change in Paris:)

Visited this place once but will not go there anymore. Place isn't very clean. But then again the food was nice and people were nice. Had a omelet with cheese and veggies and pancakes with sirop. Portions were large and we went stuffed out again.

If you want an alternative to pastries, this is the place to come. Although fairly small, we had no issues getting a table within the American diner setting. Our breakfast was delicious and huge (no need for lunch). Free coffee refills were included and the orange juice was freshly squeezed.

I ordered the brunch menu to take out, which has omelette and pancakes; the eggs were cold even the cheese inside was one peace (not melting) but was ok, when it comes to the pancakes, i was surprised that it was musty as it has been done a week ago i had to throw out everything. not recommended at all.

We had breakfast here twice as we were staying in a hotel just a few meters down the road. Small busy diner, nice food polite staff that spoke excellent English (I suspect the waitress was English) Good choice of food on the menu, fast service and the food came quickly too. If you fancy a change from the usual continental... More

It can be sad for an American traveling abroad on a holiday, especially on Thanksgiving. In spite of the famous food delights of Paris, nothing beats a home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner of turkey and all the fixings. Fear not, Breakfast in America has come to the rescue! I was fortunate to get a table there on Thanksgiving and the food was... More

The place was bustling in the middle of the day on a Friday. We were fortunate that we only waited a few minutes outside before being seated at the counter. Service was fast & efficient and food was great. My companion raved about the milkshake. A fun taste-of-home and reasonably priced. We were too full to try the "American Apple... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
