We never heard of Buddha Bar. We were sightseeing late in the evening when we got hungry and stumbled upon this lovely place. At first we didn't know if it was a club or a restaurant. The hostess said that they served food and that there was room for us in the dining area. We tried several dishes. Everything was... More

Dined here Jan 1st,having dined here many times over the years,we hadn't been for at least 3 years. We decided to return with a friend who had never been, the place is still pretty chic, food was ok,service a bit slow,we all enjoyed it but think their are better places in Paris for Asian food nowadays. We had an enjoyable meal here over the Christmas and New Year period. The staff were helpful and attentive, the atmosphere was great and the venue decor was sophisticated yet cool. As with many Paris restaurants, there are as many seats and tables as can be fitted into the space, so you are seated quite closely to others and can... More

The Buddha Bar is spot you don't want to miss in Paris, it has the best ambiance for a different drink and a Super Nice Dinner. They produce their own lounge music and even have CD's for sale. This is the place that most Celebrities visit in Paris which doesn't have the best prices. To have a couple of drinks,... More

We've been there on a Wednesday night and deliberately stayed by the bar because everyone who was stirring to have a drink seemed bored and uncomfortably sat. The drinks are way overrated - having to pay 19€ for a cocktail and even the same price for a G&T. It's an okay place but in my opinion way overrated than it... More

Description
reated thanks to the visionary imagination of Raymond Visan, owner of the famous Barfly in Paris, this restaurant-bar-lounge, located on the ultra-chic Faubourg St Honoré, rapidly became a a must-see and be-seen in the French capital. With its cinema-style décor, covering a 1,000 square meter surface area, the Buddha-Bar boasts majestic proportions, with three levels built around a monumental Buddha, over 4 meters high. Alcove lounges wind around the mezzanine and its bar sculpted in the form of a dragon with red scales and green jade, offering strategically cozy spots, where you may enjoy a privileged moment of relaxation by candlelight, unobserved by others. Gigantic arabesque chandeliers in red velvet embroidered with golden thread are beautifully suspended above the restaurant with its round tables and warm, discreet red lounge, for a fully enjoyable dining experience. The Pacific Rim menu with Pan-Asian, Californian and European influences, combines fresh products, subtle flavors and spices from around the world, based on a concept of sharing meals. The warm and pleasant Pacific atmosphere and the restaurant's attentive and friendly waiting staff help create a highly relaxing ambiance, which is subtly enhanced by the music carefully selected by the resident DJs. Here, you are suspended in time and the journey is just beginning.... Breathe in deeply....You are at the BUDDHA-BAR.
