It's an elegant place to dine, not too formal, with well trained and friendly staff. Great variety of local and regional meals, accompanied by great wines. The atmosphere is relaxed and definitely enjoyable. Highly recommended.

We did a lot of research before booking a table for last Saturday night (1/21/17). One among us had heard such great things about Ambassade D'Auvergne that we were delighted to snag an 8:30 reservation. That delight was rather tempered by the end of the evening. One young woman waiter was fantastic. But we also had to deal with an... More

Had dinner there and the relation prixe / quality is very very good for Paris. You have a very good bottle of red wine for Eur 40 and the food is also at good price, not cheap but excellent quality.

Great aligot with duck and sausages! The server was very friendly and helpful and recommended that we try the duck with truffle aligot and the sausage with the plain ones. We ended the dinner with some fantastic chocolate mousse! Will definitely be back for more yummy food!

The food was as expected - basic, simple french cuisine. We came here to try the aligot. It was good. We could sense the species, a bit less the cheese. This was the first time we eat aligot and therefor we cannot say if it was top quality. We agreed that maybe our expectations were a bit higher regarding the... More

Having been to the Musee des Arts at Metiers this restaurant was not too far away and had good reviews. We were not disappointed. The staff were very attentive and aided our decisions on what to have with care. We started with champagne to toast our anniversary and then continued to the most delicious duck followed by their renowned chocolate... More

Like most little Paris restaurants a tiny room is packed with as many tables & chairs as possible. This can make getting to your seat a challenge. We came specifically for the Aligot, and it did not disappoint. They came out & showed how they stir the cheesy mashed potato before serving. I had the country sausage with Aligot. It... More

I had dinner here with 2 persons from Paris, very good winelist with qualitywines at Eur 40. The food is excellent, had a very nice foie gras and a piece of lamb. Selection of cheese correct. Service was a little too fast, but there was only a small amount of customers. All in all a good experience, Eur 90 per... More

Excellent dinner - this time we stayed in Paris for 3 nights only and this was by far the best dinner we had (1 of the others was at a Guy Savoy restaurant which was nice but a bit sterile). Attentive staff, very interesting cuisine - thank you for the introduction to aligot and hand picked wine list all contributed... More

Delicious hearty dinner in this traditional restaurant. Staff is welcoming. Although our entrees did not include the famous Aligot our waiter shared a tiny portion with us so that we did not miss out. Chocolate mousse is a must for dessert.
