... which included a re-heated chicken (the rests of the lunch roasting, probably) plus another simple things a bit tastier but still pricey - paying mainly for its location. During our visit we even saw a mouse (small, though). While this can be normal in Paris in areas close to the Sena, it is never pleasant. On the positive side,... More

The service was rushed as it was busy and the food was very ordinary. We were there as a group and the food was served haphazardly and some of the chicken we ordered wasn't properly cooked. Could not recommend this restaurant.

We went there to celebrate my niece's birthday and the waiter was very helpful and supportive after we changed from a lady, who literally did not speak English. :) It was not easy to find something lactose free, but we solved it somehow! From that point our evening was great! The food was not outstanding, but good, the service was... More

This is a nice enough place, but I found quite touristy and the food just ok - service was really SLOW - I really believe because we were a group of Americans. Paris was in the throws of an unexpected heat wave, and so we ate outside, very busy street, a bit too much for my liking.

This is a fairly stereotypical joint near the St. Michel monument. They have plenty of outdoor seating and the inside of the restaurant is quite nice, as well. The restrooms are a trek down into the dungeon, but they were clean and functional. The rotisserie chicken smelled really, really good and, while it was what made us stop, it wasn't... More

This restaurant is just off St Michel boulevard in a nice square and you can choose to sit either inside or outside. We sat inside to avoid all the smokers! 3 of us chose the 3 course menu but my son was desperate to try snails so had these for a starter and then took 2 courses from the set... More

We just walked into this bistro from our hotel. It was great. The rillettes de canard au magret fumé was Deliscious! Good wine. Excellent service I must say. The young man could not have been more attentive. I would certainly go back

Not the waitress fault there was not enough staff for this popular place, this did not stop us eating there twice. First night the offer was Moules Mariner and Frites ...Fab next night Chicken delicious, my friend had steak which she said was good but to me it was still Mooing (this is the French way) but the mash potato... Ate here twice and the food was great on both occasions. Lovely staff, outside eating and reasonable drinks prices

It's at Saint Michel - Place Saint André des Arts - that Chez Clément has recently decided to inaugurate the new Café-Rôtisseur concept. With its strong character, Chez Clément has thus established itself as the traditional French Parisian Café-Rôtisseur thus responding to all consumer needs, tastes and desires... including quality, generosity, and transparency, which have been part of our customers' demands for several decades now. Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
