I always make a point of returning to Chez Savy anytime my travels find me in Paris. I also recommend it to any friends passing through Paris. This time, I took my sister for our girl's trip. The food is always good as is the wine...and I always am a glutton when at Chez Savy.

Went on a Friday for Dinner. As usual busy night with nice atmosphere. Friendly staff so can easily speak english and even Spanish. Menu is quite limited. My daughter had the tenderloin that was overcooked and actually hard and not very tender. The fries are to die for. I had the pork chops with truffle that were really good. Desert... More

How can a restaurant be fully booked for lunch when it doesn't take reservations for lunch? Not a complaint, but an observation from our experience. A smile and discerning maitre d'hotel got us past the first hurdle, after that we had the most memorable of traditional, Paris dining experiences. Crisp, professional service in a room(s) with style that echoes with... More

I have so often been left underwhelmed by Parisian bistros, in such a touristic city, it's easy to be conned by a nice facade only to end up with a substandard dining experience. This is not the case with Chez Savy where my girlfriend and I had lunch after visiting Paris for the Rock en Seine festival earlier this year.... More

Went there for a business lunch and was nicely suprised. Typical french setting offering excellent, tasty french cuisine. Service was very good, and recommend trying their desserts as well.

Savy is very near my hotel so I go often......lunch and dinner Wednesday, Lunch Friday, different guests. I love the bone marrow and chocolate mousse, maybe not very dietetic...but oh SO GOOD. Also had one day mushrooms with garlic, excellent, very good pommes pailles.. Excellent wine choice at reasonable price. I will go back next year when I come back... More

Great food at a reasonable price. The bone marrow is a must and the foiegras is to die for. This is a great bistro.

We ended up at this place primarily seeking refuge from a torrential downpour but turned out to be one of the better meals we had in Paris. SAVY dates back to the 1920s and has tons of ambience. The clientele look mostly to be business people out for lunch which fits well with the fairly high prices. We ordered steak... More
