First the location of the restaurant is magnificent, facing a bridge with people playing music. The food was delicious - we tried the French onion soup and the cheese pasta. The service however was a bit slow and waiters were a bit rude and rushed...More

We’ve been in Paris for a month and this is the first time we’ve experienced a rude waiter. Today, after the lunch rush, around 2:30 pm, we stopped by here to relax and refresh. The terrace was filled with an assortment of people having only...More

Moules et frites is a French tradition and it was done extremely well here. The serving portion is very large. The mussels themselves were fairly average in size, but fresh and the white wine reduction very good. Great fries to accompany it.

We were tired and hungry, and it was a bit early for dinner in Paris, but they had a blackboard outside advertising mussels and fries, which my party of three had been longing for. When I asked the host if they were serving the mussels...More

We stopped in here after wandering around Ile St. Louis. We ordered off of the "Menu" (the fixed-price offering with a starter, main course, and desert). The meal was reasonably priced and the food was very good. I had escargot (12!), penne in mushroom cream...More

Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,
