The lamb shank was delicious and the duck breast was good. I first ordered the veal kidney, which was the special of the day, by mistake because of a miscommunication with the order-taker, but the older gentleman who delivered the dish to our table said...More

Razor clams were an interesting starter and the magret de canard a very generous serving. Good value for a convenient restaurant near Les Halles.

Chanced upon this restaurant as was looking for escargots and it was near the station. Went early (7pm) and got a table. By 8pm, it was packed with mainly locals. Good food and reasonable prices.

We really loved the food and local wine, this was a highlight for us in Paris. The waiter Léo was also great, when he noticed I speak a little French (very little), he made me order in French. This made our dinner quite amuzing. Thanks!

We went to La Fresque upon recommendation of our hosts. At noon time it can be a bit crowded, but fortunately people were leaving when we arrived. We really enjoyed our lunch there. It was authentic French cuisine at an affordable price, but with impeccable...More

Le Freqsque was nice enough to do take-away for my party, but that was due to special circumstances of a crying baby that required us to leave the restaurant soon after ordering. I got the feeling they didn't do this on a... More
