If I paid EU30 for a cheeseburger, then I'd expect it to taste better than McDonald's. I understand tourist prices and location and the service is fine, but the food: salmon was overcooked and dry, the veal was cardboard, and the place is pricey even by tourist standards. Avoid.

Very good restaurant. It located near by the Arc du Triomphe. Elegant, with nice staff, speaking a perfect english. Business clients to lunch. Eating is exquisite. Good choice and variety. It is not cheap: to give an idea, two second courses, water and coffee cost 70 euro. But compared to other "strategic" places it is not that expensive. I recommend... More

Compared with other terrible experiences this one is just great! I spent my entire day in this joint from 10 am through 7 pm giving press interviews. Waiters were ALL smiling. Service was swift and efficient. Food choices are well balanced and food is really fresh. I know where I will come for my next press tour!

The place is definitely elegant, and the welcome, nice, even if the numerous staff is not that trained and consistent... Food is good. Ichose the salt & pepper kingprawn, perfectly prepared. The surprise is that you need to add an 8 € to get some greens with it... Maybe sligjly exagerate... At the end, for sparkling water, café, shrimps &... More

We stopped in on a weeknight & were seated right away. We were not too hungry, so my husband ordered for his dinner the appetizer of sweetbreads over lentils. He loved the dish. I don't eat sweetbreads, but I did try the lentils &they were outstanding. Never thought I'd get so excited over lentils. I had a bass filet. It... More

The Grand Armee is near the Arc de Triomph and has both street and indoor seating. The food was just average for a bistro. The service was friendly but not attentive. It's a convenient place to meet in the Arc area, but I wouldn't make a special trip to eat there.

This was the second time I dined at this restaurant. Both times, the service was very professional and outstanding and even though I could speak only very poor French, the staff was very welcoming and friendly and the staff spoke English without any attitude. It also helped that there were menus in English. As for the food, I feel that... More

We had reservations through our hotel on a Saturday night. Was seated promptly. The decor and setting is romantic and classy. Our waiter was polite and helpful. Calamari was excellent, but my bass and my husbands tuna steak was way below average and tasteless. Would not recommend.

The place is useful as a luncheon place, as it lies more or less half way between the Gare de Lyon and the Defense, with a Metro station nearby. The food is good the atmosphere sombre and most seating just slightly too low for upright seating--an encumberment for those amongst us whose knees start hurting after a while. The attraction...
