What used to be 70€ with two glasses of paired wines is now 89€, without the wines. Two paired wines, 10€ each. 70€ has become 109€. It is hard to call that a bargain, and maybe in bad taste. Yet on an 80° spring Saturday...More

Really a great place, with a lot of charm. Food was excellent (Turbot, Macaroni are must have), and in appropriate quantities. Nice services, and excellent wine advice.

Superb location and original decor. Parking available. Very good food although not necessarily attuned to dietary restrictions. Huge wine list but rather limited à la carte or menu choices. Service is swift but somewhat contrived with theatrical flair but no personal interaction. Maître D particularly...More

If you're looking for a traditional fine-dining experience in Paris, look no further. Set in a historic pavilion (apparently built by Haussmann as a hunting lodge for Napolean III and then transformed into a restaurant for the 1900 World Fair by none other than Gustav...More

Very friendly people. Very beautiful restaurant. But very expensive for small dishes. After our visit we were still hungry.

The food is delicious and very reasonably priced for a one star restaurant in Paris! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the service is excellent! We loved it and are definitely returning soon!

The staff and chefs were very responsive to special dietary needs. I don't eat seafood and they were happy to work around that. Just email them ahead of time.

La Grande Cascade is a gourmet restaurant located in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne. For a romantic dinner in winter or an alfresco lunch on a sunny day in summer, La Grande Cascade is the perfect rendezvous for anyone who loves fine dining and beautiful scenery in Paris. Yet La Grande Cascade has not always been a restaurant, and this explains its unusual and truly exceptional decor. It was originally a lodge where Napoleon III, who came to the Bois de Boulogne to hunt, could take a rest. Over the years, La Grande Cascade has changed with the times while maintaining its unique "retro-modern" style. Inside, the gilding, chandeliers and mirrors offer a distinct charm to a residence that has retained its period magnificence.
