I love a hand chiseled ice cube. The Ronin is a must for whisky cocktail drinkers. Great space, great drinks and no pretense.

Thoroughly enjoyed slipping in from the bustle and having a phenomenal cocktail. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

Had after dinner drinks at Sherry Butt. I wanted to try some different whiskies that I cannot get in Canada..... they have a huge selection, it almost made me cry that I couldn't stay long enough to try them all. The bartender was knowledgeable and very friendly! We just happened to be there during a special tasting. The first Tuesday... More

To agree with another reviewers comment, this is probably one of the best kept cocktail secrets in Paris.. Was fascinating to see hand carved ice being done outside Attaboy in NYC. The best touch was adding the dried fruit as garnish on some of the cocktails.. If you are a cocktail guy or gal and in paris, def worth a... More

Suffice it to say that I would rather not tell people how good this place is for fear that it becomes too popular... it's just perfect.

Americans just don't drink this stuff especially in a cocktail. When we sat down at this tiny bar, we actually almost walked out when we saw the menu's drinks even though we'd read rave reviews. We're glad we didn't! We ordered two cocktails each, and they were all wonderful. But I finally bit the bullet and tried a sherry cocktail.... More

This place keeps having great cocktails and great ambiance after years of been in the scene. Sometimes is hard to find a place to seat or is a bit overcrowded but if you manage to find a place to seat then stay and try some of their cocktails which are quite good.

FYI: Go when it is not crowded! They have a nice layout and atmosphere. The drinks were unique and enjoyable. I would give this place the slight nod over the other spot called The Experimental Cocktail Club by a nod.

Very good, but very pricey cocktails in this very cool bar. Great experience. Nice for a date night. The bartenders put on a show as they mix the drink.

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
