We reluctantly stopped here after a trip up the Arc d' Triumph and walk down Champs d'Elysees. We were presently surprised with the food and amazing presentation. My sister had a chicken dish that required table side plating of the chicken onto the plate. Tres chic! I had scallops which also were beautifully presented. The best part was the sauce,... More

Laduree is something so typical for Paris like the Eiffel Tower. You should go inside and try the macarons. Even if they look a little bit expensive, you can have just a couple, only for the experience.

I love the macaroon at La Duree; but the service at the restaurant is terrible, received the pastries 20 minutes after the tea, that was cold to start with

Like a kid in a candy shop wanting to buy and try everything we were watching around; the macarons are fantastic with a huge variate of colors and flavors to be tasted. We tried other brands but definitely Ladurée are the best

Honestly it felt like I was in Wonderland with Alice and the mad hatter. Fortunately we just happened to walk by & were able experience their soft/romantic ambiance. My boyfriend and I ordered so much off the menu and it was all spectacular. Truly one of the best breakfast/dessert spots I've ever been to & will certainly go back as... More

Every single baking goods are beautiful. For me, I personally had better macarons in Korea. It was mediocre. But the workers were extremely kind (though some did not speak English) and the Financier was amazing.

Best macaroons in the world! If you love fine deserts this place is a must. Rose tea and Ispahan made my afternoon quite dreamy. The combination of flavors and the freshness of the berries were divine.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
