We were so impressed with the beauty, well blended flavors, and creativity of the food - and the perfect service - that we returned the next night. The small extras between courses were a delight also. We could not remember a finer meal anywhere. The rhubarb dessert was a gustatory miracle! Wish we had a photo.

We had this Le Petit Celadon choice which is a weekend special choice of menu with fixed price. We had the day's special asparagus for starters and beef for the main. All the dishes were really delicious & enjoyed in very pleasant atmosphere! The service was excellent with two English speaking waiters. There was also an English menu available. Really... More

This was our second visit to this restaurant for the Sunday night prix fixe menu. We were here a few years ago and the food was so good we wanted to return. This visit similarly met and exceeded our expectations. If you are a foodie and want to experience well prepared and artistic French cuisine, this is an excellent place... More

The restaurant is tucked away in the back of the Hotel Westminster. It was about half full, and we had a very friendly welcome. The decor is old school, carpeted, white linen tablecloths. The food was good, service excellent. Our waiter was very efficient and friendly, taking time to chat with us. All in all it was a nice evening.

A very simple and warm restaurant. We got to know about this restaurant by review. Food was great, we really enjoy it. Great selections of wine. Why I didn't rate 5*... The service! There were 2 servers during lunch, with only 4 tables of guests from 2-4 person per table. Menu were handle out to us but not the special... More

Old traditional style, very comfortable, and the service is really the best you can find in a restaurant. The food is excellent, a large choice on the menu, and on the wine list. A place to go and recommend without hesitation. Here too, a delicious and perfect moment to share with someone you love…..

This was our first visit to the Hotel Westminster, and chose this restaurant as it is only a short walk from Hotel Scribe where we were staying, and were delighted with our choice once we arrived. There is an old-fashioned elegance to Le Celadon, without being stuffy or scarily formal. The staff were all very accommodating, and the food was... More

We came for the prix fixe Sunday dinner menu at "Petit Celadan". It was good for the price but not great. Three course dinner with a bottle of wine for 65euros at a one star Michelin restaurant was the draw. Crab gyoza soup was very fishy. The fish taste overwhelmed any other seasoning or taste. My wife had a vegetable... More

Description
Le Cladon restaurant in Paris Hotel Westminster in the heart of the fashionable 2nd arrondissement is a haven of elegance and style. The Hotel was once the private residence of the Duke of Westminster, hence the name. Le Cladons dining room was designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon in recreation of a Regency style drawing room with oriental touches in tones of pale green with luxurious fittings and artwork. Executive Chef Christophe Moisand has created a menu rich in tradition and infused with innovation, using the freshest of seasonal ingredients and a refined touch. Dishes may include Breton scallops flavoured with cazette, and strawberry-poched quinces. The wine list is harmoniously chosen and the service is excellent. Le Cladon becomes Le Petit Celadon at weekends.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
