The foie gras was superbe and for main course the canette was cooked perfectly. It was delicious and melted in my mouth. The chocolate dessert with the salt de Guerande was very original and excellent. The service was very discret and flawless. The restaurant is beautiful.

Beautiful setting. The food was very good, desserts superb. The service is however not up to a two star rating. Very surprised by that for the price and the excellent reputation.

Yes, the place looks great, and you can feel a lot happened here. The staff explains it very well, is very friendly and helpful. A lot of lobster and caviar on the menu. We took the 7 dish gastronomic menu with pairing wine; it was a bit disappointed to see that the signature dishes such as lièvre à la royale... More

Our family has been here before and we all fondly remembered the place as where Napoleon and Josephine once ate...and that time the food was truly memorable. Sadly, this time it was not memorable, good, but not great, and at these prices, one expects great. Service perfunctory, little warmth; sharp contrast with Guy Savoy, for example. The food was good,... More

The lunch menu, while one of the most expensive among 2* restaurants in Paris, is absolutely amazing. Food is extraordinary! The service is impeccable. And to top it, we were greeted by the chef. Absolutely magnificent!

What amazing grande cuisine! Very relaxed atmosphere for such a classy place, that's probably what makes it even classier.Guy Martin himself welcomed us! The Lunch Degustation Menu is the perfect deal! So much to taste at the end! Very highly recommended!!! We were celebrating my 45th birthday and some other important events and we could not have dreamt of better!... More

It's still true that it's hard to find bad food in Paris...but when it comes to Michelin 2 and 3 star restaurants...we found several that were pretentious and/or sold their view of the city rather than their menu. When you're going to spend $300 for two, it better be to your liking..from soup to nuts. And Le Grand Vefour is... More

A beautiful restaurant, for sure. The wait staff clearly work as a well oiled machine as the service was impeccable. We enjoyed our meal - the foie gras ravioli was easily one of the most delicious dishes I've ever had, although my main course - chicken - was a little dried out and for the price we paid, that's beyond... Le grand Vefour is for sure a one in a time experience. The ambient and the location itself is breathtaking. A place full of charme and history. The service was exceptional. The food was sensational and for a special evening in Paris, Grand Vefour is the place to go. Still probably the best Restaurant in Paris
