Hidden restaurant, minimalist and no fuss, but the food and setting were just excellent. The atmosphere is warm and winterish, the decoration is nonexistent but it still feels nice and cosy. If you get seated in the back though it’s definitely not as pleasant. We...More

Le Hangar is a lovely little restaurant. Likely because of its location (down a side alley), it is full of French-speaking locals rather than tourists, but that only adds to the quaintness. Based on the strength of previous reviews and recommendations, we had the following:...More

Am not sure what other reviewers were expecting but Le Hangar provides owner-operator attention and a homey personalized menu. These things are hard to find in Paris! Went last night for second time with the same friends who live in the Marais. The owner and...More

Overlooking the unattractive decor we hoped the food would be great at this popular Marais restaurant. Good reviews enticed us to this place, but all four of us left hungry, and a bit annoyed taken the charge. I had French beans with Parmesan for a...More

Was recommended this little gem by a work colleague. Tucked away in an alley just off Rue Beaubourg, across from the Pompidou Centre, this unassuming little place is a good to know, hidden gem. We called to book a table for lunch (as I'd been...More

Although this little place is hidden away on a little side alley, go there. Try the lentil soup (unlike any I've ever had or made--it is smooth and creamy and light), the salmon tartare, the beef stroganoff, the duck "shepherd's pie" with lovely mashed potatoes...More

This place is hidden away from the main street and worth finding. Simple dishes with fresh, quality ingredients (mostly seafood specialties) are the name of the game. Serving sizes are on the smaller side, which makes it perfect for sampling your way through the various...More

My boyfriend and I visited Le Hangar on our recent visit to Paris. I had heard good things about the restaurant so hunted it down, otherwise we would never have found it! It is definitely off the beaten track, almost in a small courtyard off...More

My girlfriend and I were staying near by in Le Marais. We found Le Hangar and were able to get a table for two without a reservation. The restaurant is small and perfectly quaint. The food is incredible and pairs well with their fabulous house...More

Hi, I’m sure we had a 2 course meal with a bottle of wine for just under €100. As I remember it was just the a la carte menu when we were there. Hope this helps!
