It is actually hard not to use a bad word, but I will behave. The reason is that words like great, awesome staff, magnificante tastes and wonderfull classic interior becomes a little dull. Will I come back? Everytime I am in Paris. Try it :D

Restaurant was around the corner from our hotel, close to Galerie Lafayette. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. They were able to adjust the spice level. The serving size is large and filling. This place is just amazing. Would recommend it if you like Indian food, or if it is your... More

The food was well prepared and delicious . Service was prompt and waiters were very attentive . We thoroughly enjoyed the barbecue platter, mutton Karahi , aaloo gobi, keema matar , aaloo palak and the warm naans. Dessert was a delight with warm gulab Jamuns and delicious kulfi . I used to visit their other restaurant (New Jawad) during my stay in Paris. But the owner suggested that I visit this one since this was walking distance from my apartment. It's almost the same as New Jawad... but slightly better. Try their Kulfis and Lassis!

In the very center, next the opéra garnier, you will find easliy this paki restaurant. Obviously, the restaurant mentions indian restaurant but they are genuine pakis who owned the restaurant. Many waiters will make sure that you get everything you desire. All dishes are as refine as delicious. Wheter you like spice or not, just ask they will please you.... More

From the aperitif to the last grain of rice, it was a wonderful meal. We happened upon this beautiful gem on our way to the Galleries Lafayette, and after days of lovely French cuisine, something different sounded delicious. The tiny sign announcing Pakistani and Indian cuisine was difficult to spot, and upon entering into the tiny restaurant we knew this... More

My wife and i had been in France for several weeks and were looking for something different. We passed New Balal around the corner from our hotel, thought the menu sounded interesting and stopped in for dinner. A perfect experience in every way! The decor of the restaurant is beautiful - elegant and restful. The wine list was extensive -... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
